The myritmo Report – Simply Explained

Medically Reviewed by Cardiologists

With our report, you receive reassurance, and your treating physician receives all key heart parameters needed for effective and targeted treatment.

In addition to analyzing your data for potential atrial fibrillation—one of the main risk factors for stroke—we also examine the ECG curves from your long-term ECG for other potential heart rhythm disorders such as bradycardia, tachycardia, or arrhythmias. The long-term ECG, recorded for at least 24 hours, allows for the diagnosis of recurring irregularities. Through this analysis, even changes can be identified that indicate an underlying condition.

Our traffic light system — a color-coded display in red, yellow, and green — provides an easy-to-understand assessment indicating whether atrial fibrillation is present.

If critical irregularities are found, we will contact you immediately.

Simply explained:

Below we will walk you through your preventive results in a clear and step-by-step manner. Each section corresponds to the orange numbered circles on your report, reviewed by our cardiologists.

Using this data, we pseudonymize your examination within our diagnostic system.

Your examination is aimed at detecting atrial fibrillation, one of the risk factors for stroke.

The ritmo is a so-called 3-channel ECG device that simultaneously records your heart rhythm across three channels. Compared to a single-channel device, this improves measurement precision and increases the reliability of the results. The date and time indicate when you started wearing the ritmo. The number of hours shows your total wear time. The device continues to record even after it has been removed. Therefore, the indicated duration may seem longer than you expected. Don’t worry — we can determine from the ECG curves exactly when you actually removed the device.

In this section, you will find information about your heart rate (pulse) during the recording period.

This section records how many heartbeats were detected by the ritmo. The QRS complex is a part of the ECG waveform. In the ECG, it represents the spread of electrical activity through the ventricles, which you perceive as a heartbeat when you feel your pulse.

Bradycardia is usually unproblematic. Under normal circumstances, up to 2,000 of these „pauses“ may occur within 24 hours without causing issues. If your heart beats so slowly that the time between two beats exceeds 2.5 seconds, we have documented these pauses.

The so-called heat map shows the likelihood of atrial fibrillation at each point in time during the recording, as determined by the evaluation system. Green indicates a low probability, and red indicates a high probability. Your heat map was reviewed and validated by a physician.

Please note: Even with a green result, a few red hotspots may appear on your heat map. However, after physician review, these may not indicate atrial fibrillation. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

In this section, you will find representative ECG curves from your examination. These were selected by our physicians to document your heart rhythm. The color coding of the three curves indicates that our ritmo device records via 3 channels.

Here you will find your examination result. The result has been validated by a physician and color-coded using a traffic light system for easier understanding:

Green:
You can be reassured: With the support of our AI software, our physicians found no indication of atrial fibrillation during your examination period. It may still be useful to repeat the test at regular intervals, especially if you have other risk factors such as high blood pressure or diabetes.

Yellow:
With the support of our AI software, our physicians found signs of an irregular heart rhythm that is not atrial fibrillation. This may be a minor and commonly occurring arrhythmia. However, since serious arrhythmias also exist, you should consult your doctor to discuss the next steps.

We are happy to provide your doctor with the full ECG data. Please contact us about this.

Red:
Based on the evaluation data from our AI software, our physicians are confident that atrial fibrillation is present. The good news is that the risk has been identified. Please consult your doctor to discuss suitable therapy options for preventing secondary conditions. We are happy to provide your doctor with your full ECG data. Please talk to us about this. If you do not yet have a physician, we would be happy to help you find a suitable practice through our network.

Please note:
Your test is an analysis of your heart health at a specific point in time. If your lifestyle or living conditions change, this could be a reason to repeat the test.

Here we have recorded the date of your result and the name of the validating physician for you.
