Start your personal stroke prevention:

Many heart diseases can only be reliably detected by a long-term ECG. And the earlier they are detected, the better they can be treated.

Unfortunately, traditional long-term ECGs are rarely used for preventive care. That’s why we developed a modern, innovative ECG system with myritmo.

The benefits:

  • The ritmo is a full-featured 3-channel ECG. It was developed and manufactured in Germany and is approved as a medical device throughout the EU.
  • Modern technology makes the ritmo as small as a passport.
  • With its specially developed wireless electrode, the ritmo is easy to apply.
  • The ritmo is comfortable to wear. It can even be worn while showering.
  • The medically recommended recording duration of 72 hours is easily manageable for patients with the ritmo.
  • The ECG data is analyzed using the myritmo analysis software, which uses advanced AI algorithms. The software is also certified as a medical device.
  • Every result is reviewed by an experienced cardiologist.
  • You receive your personalized result report typically within 48 hours of data analysis.
  • If atrial fibrillation is detected, we will immediately contact you and recommend a follow-up with your doctor.

Developed for you by doctors

Completely without:

  • annoying referrals

  • crowded waiting rooms

  • long waiting times

With the innovative ritmo mini-ECG, anyone can easily perform a long-term ECG at home. The device is as small as a passport but offers all the functions of a medical-grade long-term ECG — only more modern and more convenient. myritmo was developed and produced in Germany and is certified as a medical device across the EU.

At the core of our software is an artificial neural network with an intelligent algorithm that is continuously improved. This software evaluates the recorded data and reliably detects even the slightest irregularities that might be missed even by experienced physicians.

The ECG data is then reviewed by an experienced cardiologist. Based on the findings, your physician can proceed with treatment quickly and as needed.

The ritmo is a full-featured 3-channel long-term ECG recorder. It can continuously record ECG curves for up to twelve days at 200 Hz. During development, special attention was given to sustainable use. The device was developed and produced in Germany and, unlike many competitors, is not a disposable product: it withstands up to 1,000 charge cycles.

Ease of use and application were a priority from the beginning. The ritmo is comfortable to wear and requires no cabling. The passport-sized device is applied to the chest with a specially developed electrode (ritmo patch) and does not interfere with daily life. No user input is required: the ritmo starts recording automatically when it detects a heartbeat and stops recording on its own after data collection.

High blood pressure is one of the most important risk factors for stroke. The higher the blood pressure, the higher the risk of stroke. Untreated high blood pressure often causes damage to the walls of the blood vessels and leads to hardening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis).

Due to the decreasing elasticity of the vessel walls with increasing age, the likelihood of a stroke — especially from sudden spikes in blood pressure — increases.

It is therefore highly recommended to regularly measure blood pressure or have it checked at regular intervals.

Unfortunately, stroke is one of the leading causes of permanent disability. That is why quick treatment is essential — it can save brain tissue and reduce the consequences of a stroke. Depending on which areas of the brain are damaged by the stroke, various body functions may be impaired: consciousness, memory, speech, motor skills, vision, and sensory perception. As a result, many stroke patients require continuous assistance — for example with eating, mobility, or daily hygiene.

Atrial fibrillation and stroke

Atrial fibrillation is the most common cardiac arrhythmia. An estimated two million people in Germany are affected — and most don’t even know they have it.

Almost one in five strokes in Germany is caused by atrial fibrillation. That equates to more than 70,000 strokes per year. They often result in severe outcomes such as permanent damage, disability, or even death.

Most of these strokes could be prevented, which is why regular screening is so important.
